Original Oil Painting, “Peaceful Existence”

Hello Everyone,

Here is a new original oil painting I just completed this week.

It is a 6” X 8” original oil painting that I call “Peaceful Existence”

As you may have noticed, I have a theme within my original oil paintings. I seek to instill a sense of peace in every composition I paint. Many times, it is not the composition that gives off a peaceful feeling, but more, the way the composition was painted.

Colors chosen, bold expressive brush work and depth within the painting all aid in helping the viewer get a sense of peace when they view my work.

I do my best to surround myself with a happy, peaceful and stress free environment when I start to paint. My goal is to have that carry over into my finished work to aid the viewer in getting lost in a serene and peaceful world that can give them at least a few moments of relief in these crazy times.

I do not wish to convey the demons inside of me or the anguish I may or may not feel in my heart. The news covers that. I wish to convey hope through a peacefully constructed composition in oil paints that screams good louder than anything that screams bad.
